What is Our Church like?

We are a warm, friendly church that is sincerely interested in lost souls being saved and Christians encouraged to grow.

Our services are free and open to all.

We do not have a dress code.

We are not interested in your money but in your spiritual growth.

We are kid-friendly. I kinda have to be since I have 12 children. Your kids will not distract us from the service. They are welcome to join us for all services.

However, if you would prefer, we do have an area in the back of the auditorium, during all the services, where you can sit with your kids. This little nursery is filled with age-appropriate toys for your little ones. We also have a room adjacent to the auditorium where you can be with your kids and still enjoy the service.

Sunday School: 10 am

Have you ever wondered what the Bible is all about or been confused by the different teachings about it?

Our Sunday School lesson on “Understanding the Bible” will cover many aspects of the scriptures such as the theme, the layout, the purpose, and we will break down the Bible for you so it can be easily digested. Right now we are studying the Life of Christ as part of this study. This study will give you the tools (from the Bible itself) to understand the Bible for yourself and be sure that you have the right take on it.

Our Sunday School is divided into a kids class (ages 10 and under) and an adult Sunday School class. These classes are dynamic and exciting as we delve into the scriptures and learn how its timeless truths are applied to our modern lives. The Bible has never been outdated. It is always ahead of science, human “progress” and human experience. Come see how Christ’s life sets the example for each of us in our walk with God.

Sunday Service: 11 am

Do you want to obtain and enjoy the right fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ?

During this service, the powerful word of God is open and preached plainly. Preaching differs from teaching in that it addresses the heart instead of the head. Come see the difference! Application is relatable and up-to-date while given without compromise.

One of my main purposes as a pastor is to present Jesus Christ to you in the manner in which He WANTS to be presented. As that happens, He will draw you to Himself and your relationship will be stronger and more personal as you submit to him. Join us as God’s words are opened and its truths lead, guide and correct us into sweeter fellowship with Christ.

Sunday Night Service: 6pm

God says that he manifests (shows) his word through preaching (Titus 1:3). The Bible warns us that in the last days, Christians will depart from the faith (I Timothy 4:1) and desire teachers over preachers (II Timothy 4:3). In contrast, the Bible emphasizes preaching over teaching because Bible preaching deals with your heart. In this service we are happy to have one more opportunity for God to deal with your heart and draw you closer to him away from this wicked world.

Thursday Bible study and Prayer meeting: 6:30pm

Ever feel that the Bible is a closed book to you?

In this engaging Bible study we go verse-by-verse through the Gospel of John and expound God’s words in a clear and enlightening fashion. Prior to the Bible study we take some time to meet with God in a church prayer meeting. During this prayer time, the pastor will take prayer requests from the congregation. We strive to set aside time each week during the service to take these requests privately before the Lord. This prayer time can be done individually or as families. Then the pastor will close in group prayer before beginning the Bible study.

A Place to Grow

If you desire a closer walk with the Lord Jesus Christ, we invite you to come visit our church. Here you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ as the Bible is preached and taught in a clear, simple, yet provocative manner. Or if you have never known what it means to walk with Jesus Christ, man do we have an opportunity for you! Come find out why millions of people around the world throughout history have found SATISFACTION and salvation in Jesus Christ.

Also you can take advantage of the opportunity to belong to a community of Bible believers. We draw our strength from the Lord Jesus Christ and each other. The Bible says “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” (Proverbs 27:17) We need each other as we handle the issues of life and share the joy of service in Christ.

We look forward to your visit to our church and are excited to see what God will do in Fredericksburg!
